Travel industry research authority Phocuswright has announced the winner of the People's Choice Award for its latest Launch program, which was held on June 28th during The Phocuswright Europe Conference in Amsterdam. Six innovators took the stage to present what they hope to be groundbreaking tools and technologies that will transform the travel industry in the years to come.
This year's winner is It's July, which was represented by the company's CEO, Tamar Liberman. It's July facilitates matches between families to meet and create experiences together – where one family is the host and the other is the guest.
"We're absolutely delighted with all the Launch presenters that participated in this year's event at Phocuswright Europe," said Pete Comeau, Phocuswright Managing Director. "Each of them brought some compelling ideas and solutions with lots of game-changing potential. It's clear that the future of travel is very bright. And while the audience voting was tight, in the end It's July was the crowd favorite."
Part of the Phocuswright Innovation Platform, Launch provides an opportunity for select scaleups and established companies to introduce new products that promise to reshape some aspect of the travel value chain.
