Prior to starting his own consultancy, Martin Symes was Chief Marketing Officer of Sabre Travel Network Asia Pacific, where he led product development and content marketing for travel agencies and suppliers, as well as corporate and marketing communications.
Martin has more than 20 years of travel industry experience, starting with leading airlines and moving into the online travel space.
He was a key member of the team involved in bringing Priceline's buyer-driven e-commerce model to Asia. Martin then became the executive director, commercial at ZUJI, the Asia Pacific subsidiary of Travelocity.com. More recently, he was CEO of Wego.com, a leading travel metasearch engine.
Martin earned a master’s degree in Geography at Oxford University and gained an MBA from the London Business School.
