Leading a cross-functional team focused on sustainability, Sebnem is responsible for the incubation and development of sustainability products and initiatives for Google’s travel vertical. Under her leadership, Google has launched hotel sustainability attributes, carbon emissions on Flight Search, and joined the global Travalyst coalition.

In over a decade at Google, Sebnem has held various positions, most recently as a Head of Business Development, Travel for EMEA. Prior to joining Google, Sebnem held roles in finance and risk management at Sabanci Holding and Marsh McLennan companies. She holds a Masters and Bachelor's degree in Economics from Bogaziçi University in Istanbul and Circular Economy Masterclass from Exeter University.
