Arjan Dijk is Senior Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer at Booking.com, overseeing the company’s marketing efforts worldwide. A key leader of the Booking.com business, Arjan leads the company’s global marketing efforts, overseeing strategy and execution of all initiatives across the marketing funnel, including the brand, social, performance and innovation marketing tracks.
Next to his SVP & CMO role Arjan is also a Director of Booking.com B.V. (bestuurder).
Prior to joining Booking.com, Arjan served as Google’s Vice President of Global Marketing, responsible for leading the overall strategy and operations for Google’s marketing worldwide. His responsibilities included the marketing of Google's suite of ads product solutions globally. Arjan also led media strategy and execution for all paid media across Google's marketing campaigns. Prior to joining Google in 2008, Arjan worked for 5 years at Capital One in Europe, heading up the Marketing function and serving as a member of their Executive Leadership Team. Arjan also worked at Unilever in ice cream and frozen foods.
Both inside and outside the office, Arjan supports numerous LGBTQ+ initiatives. He has a BBA degree (Nyenrode Business University), a Master’s degree in Sociology (Vrije University Amsterdam) and an MBA from INSEAD. A Netherlands native, Arjan relocated back from California to Amsterdam in 2019 with his black labrador retriever Mickie.
