distributing availability and rates for groups, in real-time.
GRS takes the availability data from the property management software and allows property managers to combine it with typical group parameters (e.g. group prices, options, block rooms). GRS distributes this data to travel providers through a marketplace, allowing them to make real-time group bookings directly online.
Business Model: B2B - SaaS + Marketplace. Revenue based on a subscription fee combined with a transaction fee.
Competitors: Manual process, pen and paper, digital system for the automatization of request for proposals (such as Group Corner, Da Vinci Travel System).
Competitive Edge: Group Reservation System is the first solution that enables travel providers to book rooms for leisure groups online and for properties to automate the management and distribution process. The innovation is based on a combination of a channel manager and a marketplace specifically designed for the groups market.
Market Opportunity: The leisure group market is relevant, but everything is always and only on request. It is not possible to see availability and rates for leisure group rooms online, on any B2B or B2C platform. There are solutions in the MICE and events market (e.g Groups360, Meeting Package) but none in the leisure market. It’s time to innovate.
Early Customers: Hospitality: hotel chains / independent hotels/hostels (both with more than 30 rooms); travel providers: leisure group Tour Operators and big travel agencies.
