Product Description: Takyon enables people to fully own their bookings transforming these into resellable digital goods through tokenization. To do so, Takyon has launched the Resellable Rate, a prepaid non-refundable but flexible reservation - bookable on hotels' direct channel - that can be resold directly by the end customer in case of non-use on Takyon.
Business Model: Takyon has two stakeholders: 1) B2B: we work with Hotels/Booking providers to transform bookings into Tak when the booking is made (earning a Booking fee from them), 2) B2C: we built a peer-to-peer marketplace where people can buy and sell unused bookings (earning a Resell fee from Sellers)
Competitors: No direct competitors working with our business model, but indirect competition from similar concepts as TravelX, Pinktada, Fairlyne.
Competitive Edge: Takyon creates for the first time ever the concept of ownership and resellability of bookings, by transforming them into digital goods (we called them Tak) through tokenization.
Market Opportunity: Takyon has started from the Hospitality industry (€200B+ reservations value) but the technology can change the concept of reservations in many industries.

Indeed, this new paradigm can be applied to all bookings/tickets, especially for transportation, cruises, experiences, events.

Our goal is to build a new market - a secondary market - where people can resell all the unused and already paid/booked bookings.
