Brian Dass is a two-time hospitality tech founder who has spent three decades doing what most founders in this space have only done one side of: running hotels and building the software they run on. He cut his teeth as a General Manager at some of New York City's most respected luxury and boutique hotels before founding Timeless Hospitality (acquired by TravelClick, now Amadeus Hospitality) and Open Hospitality, a global booking platform that grew to serve thousands of hotels across more than a hundred countries before its acquisition by Pegasus Solutions, now part of Cendyn. His platforms have generated billions in booking revenue for hoteliers.
A common theme runs through every company he has built: hotels only pay when they earn. His booking engines were pure pay-for-performance — a small commission on bookings the platform actually delivered, with the website, digital marketing, and conversion tools bundled in.
Today, as Founder and CEO of OneJourney, Brian is applying the same operator-first thesis to hospitality fintech — turning hotel payments from a cost center into a new income line, with AI automations included and zero fees to the hotel.
