Mathias joined Etraveli Group as CEO 2014 and has since then together with the team created the leading flight centric OTA in Europe with an increasing footprint globally. In recent years the company has pivoted to become a global flight tech platform with fulfillment capabilities supporting the evolution of Booking.com Flights, leading to Booking Holdings acquiring Etraveli Group for 1,63 billion Euro. The transaction is pending competition clearance.

Mathias has for the last 25 years been leading online businesses in many different sectors in public and private settings. From Executive Management or Board positions he has been part of developing international companies within financial services (Klarna), gambling (Netent, Betsson, Svenska Spel), e-commerce (Euroflorist, LMKG) and search (Eniro) before joining Etraveli.

Mathias has attended Executive Management Programs at Harvard and at the Stockholm School of Economics. He has a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Stockholm.
