Roger Sharp Chair
Roger chairs Web Travel Group (ASX: WEB), one of the world’s leading B2B travel distribution businesses, as well as North Ridge Partners, the Singapore-based technology investment bank, where he leads the firm’s Travel Tech practice. He also founded and chairs Technology Queenstown, a not-for-profit initiative building a travel technology cluster in Queenstown, New Zealand.
With more than 30 years in travel and technology, Roger brings experience as an operator, investor and adviser. He has built and exited several travel tech businesses, and has chaired Web Travel Group since it launched WebBeds a decade ago.
Over Roger’s career he has led many landmark IPOs, privatisations, cross-border acquisitions and recapitalisations for airlines, airports, OTAs and travel technology companies worldwide. Roger was formerly Global Head of Technology for ABN AMRO Bank and Deputy Chair of Tourism New Zealand.
