Jim Cathcart Director of Policy and Regulation
Jim was appointed Policy Director at UKHospitality in April 2018. He specialises in issues and legislation relevant to the industry, including digital and online platforms, Brexit issues, food regulation and nutrition policy, the late-night sector, alcohol licensing, copyright and legal, property and planning.

On Brexit, Jim is involved in a number of high level Government policy groups on this issue and acts as liaison between officials and hospitality businesses in the UK.

UKHospitality seeks to unlock the industry’s full potential as one of the biggest engines for growth in the economy. Our members include restaurants, hotels, pubs, bars, casual dining, nightclubs, coffee shops, attractions and many more hospitality businesses.
