Cátia Silva, born in 1989, joined Vueling in 2014 in the Commercial department. She’s grown together with the company, taking different roles – Customer Care Projects Specialist, B2B Projects Management and Distribution Projects Management – while increasing responsibility with each role. In her current position as Distribution Strategy & Payments Manager in the Sales & Distribution department, Cátia leads the strategy of distribution and payments in the commercial department. One of her most relevant recent achievements is the integration of Bizum as a payment method in direct channels, and the integration of IATA Financial Gateway in indirect channels. As part of her role within IAG, Cátia has recently supported Iberia airlines in payments projects.
Cátia holds a degree in Tourism and Development, and has Masters degree in Sales Management and in Travel Agencies Management.
