Jose is the Account Executive Lead for PayPal Iberia, in charge of the Strategic Clients team for Spain and Portugal, with direct report to PayPal Iberia Leader. He’s also the Travel Industry expert for the region.

Prior to joining PayPal, Jose has held diverse positions in different industries and countries: He oversaw client acquisition and relationship management as a Private Banker at Citibank Spain and as an International Financial Advisor at Merrill Lynch in NYC, USA. Previously, he was the Country Manager in Colombia for the Spanish firm Expansión Exterior S.A., leading the efforts of the company for the Andean Region in the International Development arena. He also held Marketing and Controlling roles at Gas Natural group in Colombia, and he started his career as a Foreign Trade Advisor for the Madrid Chamber of Commerce. He graduated in Business Administration at Universidad Complutense in Madrid, and holds an MBA from Thunderbird School of Global Management and an Advanced Program in Private Equity and M&A from Instituto de Estudios Bursátiles.

Jose is passionate about travelling, music and sports, especially those under and on water.
