Travel industry research authority Phocuswright has announced the award winners of the latest Phocuswright Innovation Platform program Launch: EMEA, which was held on June 13 during the Phocuswright Europe conference in Barcelona.

Six innovators presented new ideas that are set to change the travel industry.

WeSki, a one-stop booking platform for ski holidays that curates accommodations, flights, shuttles, cars, equipment, lift passes and ski instructors from 300+ suppliers, won the Launch: EMEA People’s Choice Award.

Operto Guest Technologies, a platform that streamlines operations, enhances the guest experience, and drives efficiency and profitability for short-term rentals and hotels, was the runner up for the award.

"We're delighted with the Launch presenters that participated in this year's competition at Phocuswright Europe," said Mike Coletta, Phocuswright’s Manager of Research and Innovation. "Each of them brought valuable and unique solutions to the stage. WeSki winning the People’s Choice award punctuates the significant rise of niche OTAs that we’re seeing in the marketplace."
